Into the sun.

DAY 13: Ideally I’d love to move to Providence, Rhode Island. But that’s far away and not convenient at the moment. SOME DAY, THOUGH. Realistically, I’ll end up moving either closer to Connecticut or to the North Hampton/Hadley area. My brother said he could maybe get me a job for the same company he works for (Whole Foods, a really cool grocery store that sells organic and healthy earthy-crunchy stuff. I’ve been to the one he works at and it’s awesome. And he said all of the chains he has visited have really cool people working there) and the scene in North Hampton is so cool. Live music everywhere, cool people, awesome little stores, and so much to do. We talked about this yesterday (the first real conversation I have had with him since I was like 4) and it all sounded so perfect. And it was especially nice because we were never really all that close, and for him to open up like that made me feel like less of an only child. Neither of my brothers have lived at home since I was about 8. This got kinda off topic, but yea, I’m really excited about it and hopefully Brian and I will have the money to do this when I finish the semester in May.
I know I won’t have the chance to do tomorrows challenge unless I do it now, so I’m doing that.
DAY 14: I really can’t be sure. I’ve seen so many pictures from my childhood that I’ve formed my own memories around, so I can’t really tell what’s real anymore. But, I think it would be this, since there are no pictures of this happening and it seems like I’m really young in my memory of it: I have no idea how old I was, but I had my long curly hair, so it was probably before kindergarten. My parents were fighting near the phone in the kitchen, and they were in each others faces screaming. I’ve never liked yelling, even today when my stepdad was yelling I left the room and turned up my TV really loud to tune him out. So I heard them fighting and hated it, so I ran up and stood in-between them. I was trying to get them to stop, and my mom was crying, which she never let me or my brothers see, so I knew something was seriously wrong. I knew it was because of my dad, somehow, so I pointed at him from three feet below him and told him to leave and to stop making “mommy” cry. Needless to say, they’re divorced now. And I haven’t seen my father in almost 7 years. I still don’t know what they were fighting about, but it was probably one of many fights.
