We all like different things, and if “mainstream is what appeals to you then fine. I can’t stand when people throw fits over music that someone else likes. GET THE FUCK OVER IT. Would you enjoy it if people were always jumping down your throat because of the music you listened to? No. People are always saying “be yourself” and “do what makes you happy” then they instantly criticize you for stupid bullshit. Do I like Justin Beiber? Not the slightest bit. Do I joke around with friends who do like him? Sure. But will I not hang out with someone because they like him? Fuck no. If I want to listen to Taylor Swift, don’t fucking bother me about it. If I want to listen to Greeley Estates, let me. I’m so sick of the judgments based on music taste.
